Love the ad rotator feature. That's a great way to increase conversion. Plus, the 2 CTA buttons of the home page sliders -- you can tell when a professional does a site - the pages all have CTAs. Congrats on great job!

I agree, the rotator is a great tool. Can you rotate out forms or just images? How often are the graphics changed?

Michael, Yes, our clients have the options to test and use various functionality within the rotator tool. It's very powerful. We strongly advise our clients to change and update the rotators at a minimum of every quarter. Monthly changes would be the best in most cases. It not only keeps the site fresh, but it also is a great way to constantly improve website conversion - the number of people to the site or page compared to the number of people who take action ie. call, click, complete a form, etc. Without change and improvement any website will slowly die. Plus, if a site owner is generating traffic to a site, without improving the conversion they are constantly losing money. They will only remain at a constant conversion rate while at the same time increasing spending on generating traffic.

You seem to be saying that site owners pay for a Website and then refuse to update it or keep it fresh. Why would they do that?

Do they understand that they are throwing money away? I don't understand. I'm on your site and others to learn about how to improve our marketing investments.

Connie, Yes, Connie, we don't understand the logic behind many site owner's refusal to follow best practices. With regards to conversion - its a constant point of discussion with all of our clients. If you're not familiar with the basics of website conversion optimization please see our page on the subject: We feel that a big part of our job is to constantly inform, consult and teach our clients, prospects and site visitors on best practices but it doesn't mean they follow through. That's a hard question to answer but perhaps a good subject for a blog post. Through the years of working in marketing we found that the main three reasons for not following proven best practices including: ego, fear, and attitude. We'll have to explain these concepts in depth in a later blog post. But also consider the fact that it's a human trait in everyone. For example, do you always follow the advice of your doctor, accountant, lawyer, or personal trainer? We pay these professionals for their expertise but most people only follow a fraction of their advice.
